Hong Kong é uma cidade em constante crescimento e na necessidade de criar um modelo habitacional facilmente adaptável às restrições territoriais impostas, desenvolvemos uma estrutura de projeto prática e versátil para atender às necessidades exigidas.
O fato de que o edifício poder suportar uma variação do sistema de fachada, permite criar vários sistemas compositivos de acordo com os vazios existentes na cidade.
O edifício é concebido como uma estrutura pré-fabricada que usa um sistema modular.
A estratégia de construção permite uma implantação mínima de meios arquitetónicos e técnicos, permitindo que a construção seja resiliente e adaptável às necessidades futuras. O design do edifício tenta unir considerações económicas e estéticas de tal forma que a estrutura eficiente e de baixo custo transforma a limitação em resposta efetiva à crise da habitação na cidade de Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is a constantly growing city and in the need to create a housing model easily adaptable to the imposed territorial constraints, we have developed a practical and versatile design structure to meet the needs demanded.
The fact that the building can support a variation of the facade system, allows it to generate several compositional frameworks according to the voids existing in the city. The liberation of occupancy of the housing module, creates a compositional versatility, allowing a building in constant transformation.
The building is conceived as a prefabricated structure that uses a modular system.
The construction strategy allows a minimal deployment of architectural and technical means, allowing the building to be resilient and adaptable to future needs. The design of the building attempts to merge economic and aesthetic considerations in such a way that the efficient and low cost structure turns limitation into effective response to the housing crisis in the city of Hong Kong.
