Military Museum

 

 

O âmbito da proposta incidiu na organização de um percurso acessível que qualifica-se espaço público tendo em consideração a narrativa pretendida para o lugar. A premissa incidiu em criar um ponto de chegada – praça central – onde fosse possível encaminhar facilmente o utilizador para os vários equipamentos previstos. À cota baixa localizam-se todos os equipamentos de serviços e apoios turísticos, tais como: Shop/Info Point, hotel, restaurante, Biblioteca e espaço para eventos. À cota alta, dentro do forte, localiza-se o Museu Militar e o Memorial. Com esta estratégia, pretende-se dar ao utilizador a possibilidade de percorrer uma estrutura militar desactivada de modo a fazer da visita uma aprendizagem do passado e uma reflexão para futuro.

The proposal has focused on the organization of an acessible route that qualifies public space and gives a new narrative for this area.

The intention is to create an arrival point - main square - where is possible to easily guide the user to the various equipment provided.

At the low level are located all the services equipment and tourist supports, such as: shop/infopoint, hotel restaurant, library and an event area.

At the high level, inside the fort, is located the Military Museum and the Memorial. The strategy is to give the user the possibility of know the inside of a military structure in order to make the visit an experience of the past and a reflection for the future.
